PAST MEETS PRESENT
Jimmy Willden's first film, "Haunting Kate", a suspense intertwined with romance, is about a girl haunted by her past. It was filmed in July of 2004 in both Austin and Corpus Christi.
Kate meets a guy who opens her up emotionally for the first time. But the plot goes even deeper and takes a wild turn
"...As it turns out, he's a serial killer," said Willden. Although Willden hasn't taken any film classes, he's had help along the way.
"I've had mentors...like the director of photography (is) Michael Morlan from Austin," said Willden, who is influenced by director Cameron Crowe. He also named James Arlen O'Keefe, who plays the film's serial killer and has a small role as Isaac on "The Young and the Restless".
