WEST OF LEONA was written and directed by Christopher James Thompson.  A short film is currently in the festival circuit, and a full length script was accepted into the Austin Film Festival 2020 as a second rounder. In addition, The short film script that will become the proof of concept for the feature film of West of Leona has been accepted into the Hollyshorts Film Festival.

Christopher’s vision encompasses the struggle to make sense of one’s self after a broken relationship and how hard it is to find your own identity. Thematic Threads: WEST OF LEONA explores the human condition by showcasing an individual whose failure, mistakes, and despair precede a final moment of clarity.
